It seems that we are witnessing history
in motion. Godspeed. May it find its target. And may
this evening's start of Tisha B'Av bring nothing but blessings upon
Israel and the U.S.
The End of Days Blog had an interesting post today about the signs of the coming messiah:
The key to the last of the 18 signs in
the Gemorrah in Sotah so that Mashiach can come b'itah has now been
found with the assistance of my friend, YS. Is the Gavlan already
desolate?
In short, Eretz HaGivli (The Land of Gebel) or the Gavlan in Sotah and
Sanhedrin is the province of Bint J'bail. May it soon be desolate. Of
course, its desolation will bring about WW3, but what the heck, a world
where the public relations of our official dwarf, Armilus (Olmert)
needs to be replaced with a world where the Truth is no longer absent.
It is hard to argue that the current situation in the Middle East
does not seem apocalyptic. All signs point to Iran and Syria
getting involved.
Eye on the World Blog had a great post last Friday, showing why Ahmadinejad insists Iran respond to UN demands on August 22, 2006.
Farid Ghadry, the president of the
Reform Party of Syria, has offered a provocative explanation for this
delay. He asserts that the Supreme National Security Council of Iran
chose the August 22 date “for a very precise reason. August 21, 2006
(Rajab 27, 1427) is known in the Islamic calendar as the Night of the
Sira’a and Miira’aj, the night Prophet Mohammed (saas) ascended to
heaven from the Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem on a Bourak (Half animal, half
man), while a great light lit-up the night sky, and visited Heaven and
Hell also Beit al-Saada and Beit al-Shaqaa (House of Happiness and
House of Misery) and then descended back to Mecca.…”
Is Iran waiting to unleash a terror we cannot even imagine? What
could this "great light" signify? Is it a nuclear
explosion? Or perhaps is this in reference to another, more
positive light. Perhaps it is time that Israel is truly seen as a
"light unto the nations".
Isaiah 42:6
I, the Lord, Have Called you in Righteousness, and Will Hold your hand
and Keep you. And I Will Establish you as a Covenant of the people, for
a Light unto the nations.
Isaiah 60:2-3
For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and a thick darkness the
nations. But G-d Will Shine upon you. Nations shall then go by your
Light and kings by your radiant illumination.
It seems that since we all can't be on the front lines, we need to hope
and pray that the brave defenders of freedom will be in G-d's will,
especially at the start of Tisha B'Av. If we are truly witnessing
signs of the End Times, we should all be sure we are on the side of
light - it seems that there is a growing darkness on the horizon.
